Here’s a quick story from this week:
I was prepping a new post after hosting a recent event.
And instead of starting from scratch (and overthinking it)…
I tried something simple.
- I searched for one of my highest-performing posts.
- Copied the link and pasted it into ChatGPT.
- Gave it a few pointers about the new post I wanted to write.
- Then prompted it: “Write this in the same style as the old one.”
What came out?
A strong first draft — already 80% there.
All it needed was a few tweaks and light edits.
And yep — it worked again.
Stop Reinventing the Wheel
When something works, double down.
Instead of staring at a blank page every time,
treat your own content like a swipe file for your personal branding journey.
Look for patterns.
Look for what resonates.
Then… reuse, remix, and recreate.
This isn’t just a content hack.
It’s a strategy I turn into an actual exercise for my students and clients.
Try This:
Here’s how you can put this into practice:
- Sort your content by engagement, saves, or shares.
- Ask: Why did this one perform well?
Was it the hook? The tone? The story structure? - Copy the link and paste it into ChatGPT.
- Prompt it:”Replicate this style for a new post about [insert topic].”
- Use the output as your starting point — not the final version.
Do this consistently and you’ll start spotting your own style.
And when that happens?
Everything gets easier — content, branding, even selling.
Reuse, Remix, Repeat
High-performing content isn’t a one-time win.
It’s a template for future wins — if you pay attention.
That’s why we dive deep into this inside the Crash Course on Content Creation —
How to build a repeatable system that helps your brand grow without burning you out.
Now a question for you:
Have you ever reused your own post as a launchpad?
Or are you still battling the blank page every time?
Let me know — always curious how others work through it.
